On July 19, at eight in the morning, Vanessa Eugenia Goetz entered the world. She weighed 6lbs, 6oz and measured 19 inches. Renee Tambellini Goetz is recovering well now that she is home among family, good food, and friends. Justin (her son) is engaged in being a fabulously mindful big brother, and Mark (the husband) sports a glow of love and admiration for this glorious event. Keep them all in your prayers and God Bless.

Many people have expressed an interest in donating to earthquake relief for the devastated area of l'Aquila. Lucchesi nel Mondo of Pittsburgh will join with CIAO and the Italian Consul of Pittsburgh in a collaborative effort for this purpose. Although some time has passed since this terrible natural disaster occurred, rebuilding will continue for years to come.
